The nuCamp TAG proves that a small trailer does not have to mean roughing it. This teardrop sleeps two, tows behind many crossovers and still packs in a kitchen, climate control and off-grid power.
Lift the rear hatch and you find a sink, a two-burner stove, a 12-volt fridge or cooler drawer and plenty of storage. Cooking happens outside, which keeps the sleeping cabin clean and odor-free.
A large curved window above the head of the bed brings in daylight and gives you a view of the night sky without leaving bed. Built-in shades and screens let you control light and airflow.
Solar and lithium battery packages keep lights, fans, outlets and the fridge running away from hookups. Larger battery and solar upgrades extend your time off-grid.
Despite the small footprint, the cabin offers a queen-size mattress, cabinets, USB outlets and a fan. Air conditioning and heating options make it usable in more seasons.
The TAG is handmade by a small Amish-country manufacturer, and owners consistently mention the solid construction and attention to detail.
If you want a light, easy-to-tow camper with real comfort, the TAG is one of the best teardrops available. Visit a dealer to compare trims and packages.
